Delivery Areas

Redbridge Builders Merchants Ltd delivers a wide range of top-quality building materials to local residents and building sites across Essex and London within a 10-mile radius of IG5 0NY. The delivery types and terms are explained below.

Delivery Costs

Minimum order value for delivery: £250
Free delivery for orders over £300 within a 3-mile radius
£20 delivery charge for orders under £350 within a 3-6 mile radius
Free delivery on all orders above £400 within a 8-mile radius

You will only pay one delivery charge, and it will always be the lowest possible for your order.
If a delivery fails or the delivery address is amended, additional charges may apply.

Delivery Lead Time

We aim to deliver all online orders within 2-5 working days (Monday – Saturday).
If ordered early enough, we may offer same-day delivery.
Our deliveries are usually between 8 AM – 5 PM.
Some products are sourced directly from suppliers, which may cause slight delays.
Due to high demand, delivery times may occasionally take longer than expected.

Once your order is dispatched, we will notify you via email.

Delivery Information

Orders may be fulfilled in multiple deliveries.
Do not begin work or installation until your order is received and checked.
Redbridge Builders Merchants Ltd is not liable for any delays or consequential loss due to late deliveries.

Delivery Methods

Kerbside delivery only: The driver will park as close as possible to unload using a vehicle-mounted crane.
Deliveries must be checked and signed by someone over 18 years old.

Delivery Access Restrictions

Our delivery fleet includes HGV trucks.
Please notify us in advance about any access restrictions (e.g., narrow roads, red routes).
If delivery fails due to incorrect instructions, you may incur extra charges.

Additional Charges

If a delivery vehicle is kept waiting for an unreasonable time or returns without successful delivery, an additional charge may apply.

Returns & Refunds

We hope you’re happy with your purchase! However, if you change your mind, you can return items within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.

Return Conditions

Items must be unopened, unused, and in resalable condition.
You are responsible for returning the goods at your own cost and providing proof of return.
Alternatively, we can arrange collection, subject to a 30% restocking fee (varies by location and product type).
Items must be returned with proof of purchase.
Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving returned items.
Refunds can only be made to the original payment method.
